Volunteer

Help enhance the lives of adult Floridians with limited English proficiency by becoming a volunteer instructor!

Volunteer instructors co-teach online conversation classes that take place via Zoom during regularly scheduled times throughout the week.

Instructors commit to the following:

• Leading an intermediate-level distance learning class of up to 20 adult English language learners for one 90-minute class per week for 8 weeks. You will be paired with a co-teacher.
• Using a conversation-based model with free online materials.
• Attending 2 mandatory instructor training sessions and 3-4 instructor meetups during the semester.
