About the Florida Online English Class Pilot Program
This pilot initiative is a multi-organization collaboration to provide Florida adult learners with more options to practice their English. Working together with the support of trained volunteer instructors, we seek to collectively offer a broad selection of free online conversation classes to supplement English language learning.
This program uses a conversation-based model to address topics that concern many immigrants, such as health care, healthy lifestyle, education, and managing finances.
Special thanks to the Kislak Family Foundation for its generous financial support, and to MOIA and our literacy organization partners for helping to make this program possible. If your organization may be interested in joining this collaboration, please contact Greg Smith.
